During the Revolutionary War, there were British sympathizers known
as Tories among the colonists. Some of them would work hand-in-hand with
the Redcoats to try to foil the battle plans of the Continental Army.
After a certain skirmish, a group of General Washington’s men tracked
one of these sympathizers to a farm, which they searched for hours
without success. A militiaman then came up with the idea to release a
hen into a barn where they suspected the fugitive might be hiding.
Sure enough, loud cackling and commotion quickly ensued, and the
soldiers were finally able to take their prisoner into custody. This was
the first known instance where someone (more…) had a chicken catch a Tory!!

The Fat Lady Sings: Monday’s Child
The Fat Lady Sings: Monday’s Child
JDR was born on a Tuesday.
JDR was born on a Tuesday.
Monday’s Child
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child must work for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Zechariah 4:10 "Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the LORD that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?"
Zechariah 4:10 "Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the LORD that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?": American King James Version
For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Curmudgeonly & Skeptical presents Boned Jello HUMOR
Curmudgeonly & Skeptical presents Boned Jello: OBAMA RATED 5th BEST PRESIDENT IN OUR HISTORY
Washington, Lincoln, Coolidge, Reagan, and— Obama?
The details according to TEXAS A&M
#1. Reagan & Lincoln tied for first,
#2. Twenty three presidents tied for second,
#3. Seventeen other presidents tied for third,
#4. Jimmy Carter came in fourth, and
#5. Obama came in fifth!
This appears to be totally reasonable . . . . .

(2) Facebook
(2) Facebook: "I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye."She then began to cry and walked away. They say it takes a minute to find a special person. An hour to appreciate them. A day to love them. And an entire life to forget them.
