In case you are wondering why his family does not intervene and pull the plug on Doctor Demented's presidential campaign, a reader sent me these links. 

The New York Post reported on June 9, 2017, "The wild-child niece of former Veep Joe Biden stole more than $100,000 in a credit card scam — and quietly cut a plea deal in Manhattan court that spares her any jail time, The Post has learned.

"Using a borrowed credit card, the blonde Caroline Biden set up an unauthorized customer account at Bigelow Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village, and racked up the six-figure bill over the course of a year, according to a criminal complaint that does not name the victim card owner.

"As part of a plea deal before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Kevin McGrath, Biden, 29, pleaded guilty to one charge of grand larceny and another of petit larceny and agreed to make restitution of $110,810.04."

NBC reported on October 16, 2014, "Vice President Joe Biden's son was booted from the Navy Reserve because he tested positive for drugs, it was revealed on Thursday."

He spent no time in the brig. A vice president's son gets special treatment.

The News Journal reported on March 2, 2017, "Citing irreconcilable differences, Kathleen Biden filed for divorce from her husband of 23 years, Hunter, late last year, Superior Court records in Washington, D.C. show.

Kathleen's Dec. 9 complaint and subsequent filings detail a rocky relationship between the couple alleging drug use and infidelity dating to at least 2015, shortly after Hunter's brother, former Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, died of brain cancer."

Family values.

The New York Post reported on March 15, 2018, "What Hunter Biden, the son of America’s vice president, and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of John Kerry, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (later to be secretary of state), were creating was an international private equity firm. It was anchored by the Heinz family alternative investment fund, Rosemont Capital. The new firm would be populated by political loyalists and positioned to strike profitable deals overseas with foreign governments and officials with whom the US government was negotiating."

The story also said, "Rosemont Seneca and the Bank of China created a $1 billion investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), a name that reflected who was involved. Bohai (or Bo Hai), the innermost gulf of the Yellow Sea, was a reference to the Chinese stake in the company."

Their third partner was the nephew of Boston mafioso Whitey Bulger, who died in a federal prison.

The New York Post reported on March 30, 2009, "A decade before a friend came forward trying to sell a video that he claimed showed her snorting cocaine, Vice President Joseph Biden’s daughter was busted for pot possession.

"Ashley Biden 'was a hot freshman that every guy wanted to be with,' said Nat Berman, a Tulane University classmate, who said he bailed Ashley out of jail after her 1999 marijuana arrest in New Orleans, for which no conviction was recorded."

Finally, Real Clear Politics reported on September 27, 2019, "FLASHBACK, 2018: Joe Biden Brags At CFR Meeting About Withholding Aid To Ukraine To Force Firing Of Prosecutor."

That son was receiving a million bucks a year for a no-show job from Burisma, a crooked energy company.

Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations, "I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.

"So they said they had — they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to — or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said — I said, call him."

(Laughter.)

"I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch."

(Laughter.)

"He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time."

Now CFR says of him, "Joe Biden, 77, has an extensive foreign policy background. As a two-term vice president under President Barack Obama, he played a leading role in the administration’s policy on Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, and other conflict areas. As a U.S. senator from Delaware from 1973 to 2009, he served on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for three decades."

This is how Washington runs America. Its foreign policy is sold to the highest bidder, and the media and the think tanks cover it up -- except for outlier outlets such as the New York Post.

His family will continue to use Biden to keep them rich and out of prison.
