I know Dr. M has issues with continuously relying on drinking distilled water, but as you have reported about this EPA insanity, we may have few choices in this drinking water dilemma. Pure distilled water has to be by far the cleanest, cheapest, and easiest to buy or make. However, it has been reported much by Dr. M. that prolonged use of drinking distilled water can eventually rob, deprive, and deplete your body of essential minerals. www.mercola.com/.../distilled_water.htm
Consuming distilled water with good quality whole food should be one way of overcoming those problems. Adding a mineral supplement, ancient sea salt, and/or baking soda, especially for in between meals, can be another solution. www.mercola.com/.../distilled_water.htm
And in case it needs to be said, I'm only referring to your drinking tap water, not the whole house/apt water for washing and flushing. When distilled water is left out in an open vessel, it has a tendency to absorb and bind with the CO2 from the atmosphere thereby lowering it's pH from a neutral 7 to a low of as much as an acidic 4.2. A little baking soda can reverse that, and one can test the water with a pH meter or litmus paper; www.milwaukeeinstruments.com/site www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=red blue litmus paper&tag=g..
Minerals can be added to distilled water with supplements such as Concentrace; https://traceminerals.com/
You can distill your own water at home with counter top appliances such as; www.waterdistillersdirect.com .
Also, a gallon jug of distilled water can be found just about anywhere in various supermarkets and auto supply stores, usually for about a dollar.
